While the API is down, you can still use the 'Full Scan' old school method of scanning in the AuctionDB tab to update current prices on your server. Its all about scan-owerwiev /spesific shoppinglist fore raidingmats craftingmats and so on. It won't update any of the fancy TSM Desktop App price sources but if you need bare bones current server prices, this would be the route to go for now. It takes me about 8-9 minutes to scan 422 Pages. I think it will be okay, the influx of players and the ease of access for your average player to make competitive sales should keep things floating for now. I honestly think the new auction house model is going to kill off many sales for addon users who do not dedicate to sitting and scanning the AH every 5-15minutes because you are going to be undercut FAR more often by everybody that uses the auction house. I have not used an addon yet since the update but I think it makes perfect sense for it to be slower all around at the start, shopping lists are even more important now that we cannot have a proffession tab open along side the AH.
Scanning has fundamentally changed for sure(there is no AH pages now, it’s all one big scroll), only time will tell if its for better or worse I guess.
